HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Leadership development works best when it is connected to the real work

I work with leaders and teams on the challenges they are actually facing: a difficult relationship, a team that is not working as well as it could, a change that needs to land, or a leadership pattern that is getting in the way.

We start there.

The work is practical. We pay attention to what you think and say, and also to what happens underneath it. That includes how you respond under pressure and the signals other people may be picking up from you.

That means working at several levels:

Working with what is happening now

Real situations provide the material. We work with what is happening in the business and between the people involved. That usually gives us much better material than an abstract exercise.

Seeing the patterns

We look beneath the immediate problem to understand what may be creating or sustaining it, including habits that have become automatic.

Experimenting with something different

Seeing the pattern is a start. Change happens as you try something different and learn from what happens.

Making the change stick

Over time, the new response becomes easier to find, including when things get difficult.

The work might take the form of executive coaching, team development, a leadership programme, a workshop or support through organizational change. We choose the format once we understand the challenge.

The aim is to help leaders become more intentional about the conditions they create and change what is no longer working.
